Technical index of filter paper
Apr 27, 2017

The technical index of filter paper can be divided into two aspects, one is the filtration characteristics of filter papers, on the other hand is the physical characteristics. Filtration characteristics include air permeability, gas resistance, maximum aperture, average aperture. The physical characteristics include quantitative, thickness, stiffness, corrugated depth, breaking degree, resin content, etc.

Quantification: Refers to the quality of the filter paper per square meter, unit: g/m ².

Thickness: Refers to the thickness of the filter paper, excluding corrugated depth. Unit: MM.

Air Resistance: The resistance of filter paper to air flow. The 100CM2 filter paper is used to represent the pressure drop value of 85 liters of air in one minutes. The unit is mbar. Or the height of the water column (mm).

Corrugated depth: To strengthen the vertical stiffness of the filter paper and suppress the Groove depth, Unit is: MM. In general, its value is 0.2mm.

Permeability: In a certain area, under certain pressure (20 mm water column), per unit time through the air volume of the filter paper. Units are: L/m2 ·

Nominal filtration accuracy: refers to the ability of filter paper to the retention of particles of a certain size, can be retained or filtered out of the 50% of the tiny sphere of particle size. Unit: μ M.

Max aperture: The void size calculated when the first bubble burst in the filter paper sample is tested. Unit: μ M.

Mean aperture: The aperture of the pressure calculated with "dense" bubbling is called the mean aperture. Unit is: μ M.

Resin content: Resin accounted for the percentage of filter paper weight. Generally 10%~30%

Stiffness: the ability to resist deformation of filter paper. Unit: MG.

Breaking degree: The maximum pressure that can withstand the unit area of filter paper. Unit: kpa.
